K's Weekly Wishlist #5

Hello Sweeties!

I am so very sorry that I haven't been blogging for a while. A few weeks ago my new studies have begun and since then I have been incredibly busy, it has taken up my entire life. If my boyfriend wasn't living with me, I would be all on my own with my books and my co-students. And yes, this means I have not seen my friends in a while. Now to my wishlist:

I am still in love with statement necklaces, the chunkier and bigger the better. Some weeks ago I found one at Primark I really like, for a really low price (what a surprise for Primark huh). I really need this kind of jewelry so that my outfits don't look dead boring, mainly because they are so minimal and simple.
I have been recommended Batiste Dry Shampoo so many times, I cannot count them anymore. Many blogs rave about it and so does Bianca. I think I will finally give it a try. This will give my hair a break because I have to wash it every single morning!
This kind of shoes have been on my mind for as long as I can think. I had to give away the ones from Primark I have owned for many years and now I have been looking for cheap but pretty ones everywhere. Zara products are of higher quality, so I might get my hands on those in the future.
I have been buying many lip pencils already and what upset me a bit is that the staying power is quite bad. After reading some reviews on the Bourjois Color Boost lipstick I am eyeing with this one.
The leggings shown in the picture are not only on my wishlist but also on their way to my closet! I am really excited for them to arrive. I am totally into leggings lately and I don't want to miss the wet look ones.
Cut-out boots. Yes to going with this hype. They look a lot like the ones from Jeffrey Campbell, which I like, and I really need some with gold details. They have to be minimal and not suede. I have fallen in love with the ones shown in the picture but my size is sold out already... I really hope they will restock!
No, I have never been someone who wears watches. I have mobile phone, I don't need a watch on my wrist. Well, maybe I was wrong and wearing one would be a lot more practical. And if I decide to get one, I will still have to choose between digital and analogue. Even though I prefer analogue to digital, I cannot bear the ticking for a second.

What have you been wishing for lately?

B's Wishlist #5

So, this wishlist business is definitely starting to become a (both pricey and really enjoyable) habit on this blog! Sadly (or luckily for her) Kym is still on her American road trip adventure, so this week there might only be one wishlist, unless she manages to have a little quick one at a Starbucks somewhere! Anyway, without further ado, here my bi-monthly wishlist for the next couple of weeks:

As I think I mentioned, Kym is so kind as to bring me quite a couple of make-up bits from the US, since they're much cheaper there than in most places in Europe. I'm deeeeead excited, so to honor my new little beauties, I'd love to get this Ted Baker Make Up bag - I have tons of other ones, but this gorgeous snake-skin one is just too good. It's on sale right now, too, and I've been wanting a Ted Baker one forever to replace my much less exciting H&M ones.
I mentioned in my last wishlist that I was seriously in love with knitted headband/turbans, and that hasn't changed. This one in black, white and orange looks classy but the pop of color makes it really stand out, which is great for accessorizing an outfit. So sad about the 70€ price tag!
Another thing I mentioned last time is the amount of jeans I have, so this really shouldn't feature on my wishlist. I have skinny jeans, I have acid washed jeans, I have blue jeans, and yet I still really want these. They're from Boohoo so they're definitely affordable, and anyone who knows me knows I just live in high waisted denim all year round.
Despite being a very regular and long time Body Shop customer, I have only very recently started to look beyond their body butters, shower gels and fruity lip balms. Lately I've gotten really interested in their skin care, particularly face care. Their face masks (especially Tea Tree and Dead Sea) are brilliant, so I've decided to pop in sometime in the next days to buy their Pore Minimizer with tea tree extract. I have slightly enlarged pores on my t-zone and would love it if this product worked, but I trust the Body Shop and look forward to using this.
Did I mention that summer is over, it has been raining non-stop and autumn has definitely arrived? I do miss summer already, but I'm beyond excited to get to wear hats, beanies, scarves, gloves, etc. This cute camo beanie by Monki matches my recent camo crop-top purchase... from Monki, too ;)
Even though I'm really quite happy with how my Catrice Cosmetics eyebrow pencil works, I am still keen to try out new eyebrow products to find out what works best for me and gives the most natural look. As I wrote in a previous article, I'm a big fan of thick, defined and quite dark eyebrows, so the quality of the pencil is essential. I've heard a lot of good about the Inglot pencils, so that might just be my next brow product purchase!
The next one is a product that Kym might bring me back from the US, if she finds it: the reviews on the NYX website are great, and I'm always on the look for a good concealer, so this might be worth a try.
While I do have my own favorite scents, I've been looking for a small, travel-friendly alternative perfume to easily carry around with me. I'm not usually that big a fan of Lush products because I tend to find the soapy smell a little overwhelming, but these small solid perfume sticks - perfect size to toss into your handbag - seem like a great, affordable idea to me. This scent, Karma, is described as "a powerful, spicy and unique patchouli and citrus perfume" which sounds pretty nice, especially for autumn.
Last but not least: the NARS Sheer Glow Foundation. The only reason I don't own this already is that NARS products are really pretty expensive, especially face products. But this has been raved about so much in the beauty world that I just can't resist it much longer and am starting to save up for it.

K's Weekly Wishlist #2

I have been thinking quite a long  time about my wishlist this week because I couldn't find enough this time, so Bianca and me decided that from now one we are going to make our Weekly Wishlists every two weeks instead of every week!
I have been fond of maxi dresses and already own five of them, but I still can't get enough. Especially because I have been searching for an affordable maxi dress like this one on boohoo for a long time! Unfortunately, and I am actually really sad about it, it has sold out in my size already! I really hope it will restock, although they barely restock anything on boohoo... Anyways, the sandals are from boohoo as well, and although I am not sure that studs are still fashionable, I love the idea of combining punky studs with an elegant pointed ballerina style. The necklace is on my wishlist, although it is more an idea for another statement jewelry than a concrete wish for it. I am still searching for a perfect one for me!
Now to the beauty part of the list. My perfect Maybelline Volum' Express Colossal Mascara in 100% black, which is a product I have been using for years and I can highly recommend to anyone, has been nearly used up and I think about switching to the Kiko Luxurious Lashes Mascara, which I have been eyeing for some time now. Considering the description, it should add a very similar effect to my lashes as my maybelline one did.
The La Riché Directions Hair Color will be for my ombré hair I dyed some days ago. I have had it that way last summer already, but this time I wanted to add some color in my hair ends, especially for the festival I am going to in 3 weeks. I am not sure about the color yet, but it will definitely be a shade of pink ro purple!
When I went to England at the beginning of June, I used up my dearly Essence Cleansing Cream and had to buy another product, from another brand... I am so bloody careful with my facial skin because it is very oily and I get pimples so incredibly easily, plus it is so sensitive at the same time and gets dry very quickly. I have a fatal combination. The product I bought is not working as expected and I will throw it away and buy my favorite cleansing cream again. Fortunately, it is really cheap.
So talking about my facial skin, I am very careful with any kind of foundation and powder as well. I have been trying some cheaper products, and I was disappointed nearly every single time. I am now aiming for a more expensive product, combining the effects that I need, and I have finally discovered one: The Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream. Reviews say, it is perfect for sensitive skin, oil-controlling, moisturizing and sun protecting. I will definitely buy it in September when I visit the United States!
